This Friday marks the final Friday of my maternity leave - sigh. On Monday morning I will no longer be a stay-at-home Mom, but will become a working Mom again. I know, I know, no pity parties for me as I have had 15 glorious months off of work to spend with Bug and Monkey. So, on with the show.
I cannot even begin to explain how many hours I have spent combing cyberspace to find products that are unique, funky and fun. Dirty Daddy could probably give you a total as I suspect he's been keeping track! It was during one of these countless searches that I came upon ABC Paper Cups.
Paper cups may not sound all that exciting, but I promise you these cups truly are. They are beverage holder meets craft meets toddler teacher meets party decoration meets drink identifier all in one. These 2009 RedDot Design Award ABC Paper Cups were the brainchild of IaM Design in Seoul, Korea. Each box contains 30 fun and vibrant cups made of recycled paper, including all the letters of the alphabet and hearts
Until recently, these sassy cups were only available in Korea. They have now entered the market in Sweden. I know, still a long way away, and considering shipping and exchange, an expensive cup to be using if it's not made of crystal.
So we decided to make this cool product available at The Spotted Monkey, taking care of all those confusing exchange rates, border services fees and overseas shipping costs to bring them to you. I don't know about you, but I think the Mommies and Daddies will be using these funky cups at our next bbq!
I have seriously thought up a bunch of ways to use these cups with my kids (and ways to use them with Dirty Daddy - wink, wink), but I'll just provide you with a couple more pictures of PG rated ideas below.
This is definitely one of those products I consider a true Fab Find. We've got less than six weeks to go until we launch, so start thinking up ways to use these fantastic cups. Great idea on the cups, sounds like a perfect thing for parties too. This way when some fucker tries to sneak my drink I'll be able to track them down faster and punch the fucker right in the face :)
